My asus laptop shutdown randomly while in use. Then my laptop would not charge until i plugged it into another outlet. I tried turning it on only for it to shutdown again. As soon as i got in my battery level went from 100-50. I'm stumped. It comes up as a kernel 41 in event viewer, and no minidump was found. Maybe it was a faulty outlet that might have discharged my laptop and windows saw that out? Any ideas guys? It could just be a batteyr problem but my laptop was plugged in so im not sure. I've run malware and virus scans with nothing coming up.

I cannot read the white font on the black background.  I can read it if I highlight it, but it's still difficult because of my eye problems.

An Event ID 41 is simply Windows saying it doesn't know why it shut down.  This can be hardware, software, or even just pressing the power button to shut the computer off.
