Hello everyone,

I was torrenting a movie on a website that I thought was kickasstorrents and received lots of malware and such. The next time I got on my computer, I get an alert box in the center of my screen that says, " This copy of Windows did not pass validation. You might be a victim of software counterfeiting." The thing is, Windows came pre-installed from Dell itself. Also my internet IS connected but it stopped working. I get the message "DNS_Probe_Finished_NXDOMAIN. Furthermore I can't even open up Malwarebytes because I get this: "This program can't start because DNSAPI.dll is missing from your computer." All of this cant be a coincidence because it happened immediately after I torrented this suspicious movie file that needed to be opened with a .rar unlocked(stupid I know). Help would be extremely appreciated because I have no clue what's going on..

Also I ran Microsoft security essentials and a Trojan can't be removed because I'm getting the error code: "0x800704ec this program is blocked by group policy, contact your system adminstrator."

This is going to take some work and a deeper look. No sense running a bunch of tools first.
Please follow this Preparation Guide and post in a new topic.
Let me know if all went well.
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
