I am using Windows 10, but the issue occurred on Windows 7 as well.

My laptop has two graphics adapters in it. One is an AMD Performance adapter the other is an integrated Intel adapter. If I switch to the AMD adapter my default internet browser continually opens windows to my home page, google.com,  until my RAM is full and the computer slows to a crawl. I've tried uninstalling Google Chrome and Firefox but the issue continues with Internet Explorer. I've tried installing different graphics drivers with no change. I've also formatted and reinstalled windows, as soon as I switch to the AMD adapter the issue arises again. If I am browsing the internet while the AMD adapter is active, it takes me back to the home page automatically.

I've tried different anti-virus, malware removal tools, adware removal tools. But nothing has helped me fix this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That A1U55AV comes up as a motherboard.

Do you have the user's manual for this laptop?

The A1u55AV is what HP knows it as: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-dv6-6c00-quad-edition-entertainment-notebook-pc-series/5214356/model/5214358#Z7_3054ICK0K8UDA0AQC11TA930O2

It also is listed as dv6t-6c00

Have you tried downloading the graphics drivers for Windows 10?
