I just brought a new 55inch Ultra High Def TV which I am trying to play 4K video from my PC via HDMI on. I have tried VLC and 5KPLAYER both give a jumpy video with the video constantly going white for a few seconds then displaying a second or two of good video.

I believe my PC is more than good enough to handle the processing of the video, any idea's on how to fix this? I'm happy to use other playback programs if suggested.

PC Specs are,

Mainboard - Gigabyte X79-UD3

CPU - Intel i7 3820 3.6GHz

RAM - 8GB dual channel (I think 2133mhz, could use a bit more RAM I realize)

GPU - GeForce GTX 670
