So I'm still struggling to find the best gamer laptop. I can't uses a desktop because I travel too much. I was all set the get the ASUS ROG based on the help I got from this site. But the price jumped to $798.00, I saw this ACER laptop on sale & it gets rated really high. It's only on sale briefly & is generally $999.00. I currently have an older Acer & have liked it but what has a better reputation ASUS ROG or ACER Aspire Nitro Black?

The only real difference seems to be the Acer is $759 & slightly thinner & lighter.
The Asus ROG is $789.00. So does the ASUS ROG have a much better reputation compared to
ACER Nitro Black?

I don't know about those specific laptop models, but generally for longer term reliability ASUS has a much better overall reputation than Acer (in my opinion).
