Hello

I changed my motherboard and cpu from AMD to Skylake 6700 so I did a format of my HDD and did a clean install of Win 7 ultimate 64 bit

I have no running antivirus

I have validated my windows key online

Now when i am trying to check the updates in Win 7 it keeps checking endlessly. The shutdown button shows updates pending  which will be done when it shuts down, but although i have restarted  several times, nothing happens and it just shows up again.

Only 2 updates have been installed till now.

My configuration is

Intel I7 6700

ASUS H170M motherboard

Adta 2 X 8gb DDR4 2133 Mhz

1 TB WD HDD

Please advise

Thanks for helping
