This design just seems wrong since the right angle design results in lateral force being applied to the power jack--in the nature of a 2d class lever.

So I am looking to replace this with a straight-tip connector.

Have others seen this as an issue?

Can anyone steer me to a source for replacement tips that I can solder on?

Plan B would be to find a replacement adapter with a straight tip.  Can anyone steer me to a reliable source for one of these?

The ratings on the AC adapter are 19.5 V  2.31 A.
