Hi all,

I have various files - cbr, audio/video, youtube and the like that I save, keep and watch later. I've not had a problem with this issue that I can remember, but lately, the last three dvd's I've used, I used the Windows Live File system to copy them, and I double check before ejecting, to make sure they're there - and they are, until I ejected the last three as I mentioned, and there's no record of any of them on the disc.

I then tried to use the second format, the Mastered because I wanted to try and watch them on my dvd player w/tv..this way worked, but what about the first three? Is the data lost, because I didn't know what to do, I tried to re-format the disc, thinking the data was just lost, and it says I have - - - MB left, the dashes representing whatever number of mb it said were left.

Is there a way to get the files even thought the dvd r doesn't show them? It doesn't even show that the dvd r was dated or anything, it's like there's no physical disc in the drive.

I'm stuck!
