I occasionally get strange BSODs while alt tabbing between a windowed mode Pc game and a youtube video that is playing. Sometimes the BSODs occure while live streaming.

The BSOD is always "System Thread Exception Not Handled"

Only 3 Windows Update hotfixes installed.  Most systems running build 10586 have more than that.  Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

A wireless device appears to have been installed on your system:

I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7 and later systems - using older drivers with them is almost certain to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have the latest W7/8/8.1/10 drivers - DO NOT use older drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.

Your UEFI/BIOS (version V1.19) dates from 2012.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.

While the memory dumps blame video, it's not specific that it blames your video drivers (it's actually blaming DirectX).

As such, I'd suggest running Driver Verifier according to these instructions in order to be sure:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

Post back with the results and we'll move on from there.

It would seem that I have the latest BIOS possible.

BIOS Type AMI File Size: 4432 KB Version 1.19 BIOS Date 2012-08-01 File Name 7673v1J.zip Downloaded 150×

http://www.msi-bios.com/msi-bios-for-P67A-C43-with-MS-7673-and-version-1.html

I am not aware of any wireless devices, how would I go about finding and removing them?

Running driver verification caused some serious problems.

A constant BSOD callled Driver Verification exception

All my dumps are now missing after the startup repair.

Startup repair shouldn't remove the dumps.

It's possible that the crashes occurred too early in the boot process for dumps to be gathered.

Please see if you have a file named MEMORY.dmp in the C:\Windows folder that dates from around the time of the Driver Verifier crashes.  If so, zip it up and upload it to a free file-hosting service (such as OneDrive or DropBox), then post a link to it here.

Also, please post a fresh set of the reports that we requested in the beginning.  There may be traces of the memory dumps/crashes in them.

Finally, as the problems appear to be with the video, start with these troubleshooting steps (even though you don't have the same error, most of the steps are the same):  http://www.sysnative.com/forums/bsod-kernel-dump-analysis-debugging-information/35-video-tdr-timeout-0x116-0x117.html#post29532
Also, please monitor your temps with this free utility:  http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

I think the repair rolled back to a restore point. But I certainly had dumps back then, they were gone. Bluescreenveiwer was empty.

Looked for the memory dumps, found none.

I will work on the Video Troubleshoot.

I would point out that SFC /Scannow results in files that could not be repaired, even in safe mode.

Your WER history (in the MSINFO32 report) goes back to 12/4 - but there are no signs of BSOD's in them

But I've noticed a huge number of errors in SearchUI.exe (most from 19 to 22 December)

Have you tried to stop Cortana from running or done anything else with the search functions in Windows?

The Event Viewer's System logfile shows many errors with MalwareBytes and it's Chameleon executable.

Mostly problems with identifying files and digital signatures (particularly the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool executable).
Do you recall anything about this?

Any idea if the system could be infected or not?

I really don't have a good feeling about the integrity of the operating system.

If we can't find a resolution, my next suggestion would be a Reset of the system using the Keep My Files option.

Sometimes search dosn't work so I have to force close cortana and then it works fine. Happens only so often.

Malewarebytes gave me a clean bill of health, I fun it frequently.

I don't use that malicious software removal tool.

In terms of all the blue screens being gone from record, I have no idea.

Do this, then wait for the next BSOD:

follow the directions here to set your system for Minidumps (much smaller than the MEMORY.DMP file):  http://www.carrona.org/setmini.html
More info on dump file options here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/254649

Yes.

In most cases, if you wait a week and there's no BSOD - then it's probably fixed.

If you then wait another week, and still no BSOD's - then it's most likely been fixed.

It still blames video.

The next step is to try another video card.  Do you have one that you can use?

If not, I suggest purchasing one from a store that will give you a refund if you return it.

Good luck!
