Hello everyone!

I really would need some help regarding the above issue. My laptop was infected by qqp malware when I tried to install some software I downloaded.

The problem is that I have a program in chinese language which looks like a Speed booster and Antivirus one (like the boosters in android devices) which can not be uninstalled or removed from the processes list in task manager.

I have tried a lot of anti-malware programs such as spybot and malwarebytes but they remove everything than the specific threat.

Is there anything I can do or should I think about formatting my HDD.

Thank you very much in advance.

I managed to uninstall the malicious software by following a youtube video and then using ccleaner to clean my registry.

You can close the topic. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi there,

As a closing note, using registry cleaner (including the function in CCleaner) is not recommended.

Why you should not use Registry Cleaners and Optimization Tools

Also Spybot S&D is pretty outdated and ineffective. There are better scanners out there - Emsisoft Anti-Malware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware are two of the best.
