I am having BSOD's when I startup, but not during normal operations after startup, and not after waking from sleep state.

Spoiler

I am not allowed to upload the report from PERFMON (I don't know why)

System Information report is missing.

Please do this:

systeminfo:
Please open an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt and type (or copy/paste) "systeminfo.exe >%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\systeminfo.txt" (without the quotes) and press Enter.  Then navigate to Desktop to retrieve the syteminfo.txt file.  If you have difficulties with making this work, please post back.  Then zip up the .txt file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.

Your UEFI/BIOS (version v5.6) dates from 2014.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.

MSI Afterburner (along with Riva Tuner and EVGA Precision) is known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems (it's driver is usually RTCore64.sys).  Please un-install them immediately!

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting.  Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.

It seems that there's some system corruption going on.

I'll most likely suggest a Reset with the Keep My Files option - but DISM/SFC are also valid options for attempting repairs.

But, in case we're headed in the wrong direction I'd like to have you run Driver Verifier.

As we're wondering about problems with the OS, please do this:

- run verifier.exe from the Run dialog (Win + R keys)

- ensure "create standard setttings" is selected and then click on "Next"

- select "automatically select all drivers installed on this computer" (NOTE:  this may slow the computer down) and then click on "Finish"

- reboot for the changes to take effect

- let it run for 36 hours or until the system BSOD's twice (whichever comes first)

- then zip up the memory dumps in C:\Windows\Minidump (you may have to copy them to your Desktop to zip them) and upload them with your next post.

- if no memory dumps were generated, just post back to let us know.

I have uninstalled MSI afterburner

I set up driver verifier and rebooted, I got 2 BSOD's in a row and Windows started automatic repair. I chose to restore to a previous point, which did not work (I don't know why). From the advanced options in the repair menu, I chose to exit to Windows 10. That worked fine, and I booted into Windows 10 and ran sfc /scannow just to make sure no damage was done (no issues found).

I attached the System Info zipped file I thought it was

I haven't looked into upgrading the BIOS yet, I need to go out soon, will have time to do that later this weekend.

This issue might be resolved. I have not had a BSOD since last posting, and have shut down and booted up machine at least 3 or 4 times since then.
