I'm on Windows 8.1 and have just been experiencing webpages either downloading fine...or downloading slowly (or not at all and then getting a timed out message).

These are normal mainstream websites BBC etc...

The problem occurs when I use wireless or ethernet.

I have now found that when disconnecting the reconnecting the wireless connection cures the issue but only for a short time ....say 10 minutes then returning to the sites visited successfully and trying to reload then normally is not possible and I get the timed out message.

So why does disconnecting the wireless then reconnecting cure the problem but only temporarily ?..and what steps can I take please to remedy this issue ?.

I have another laptop and tablet connected wirelessly to the same router and they have no problems like this at all.

I had to disconnect and reconnect just to send this post for instance....the problem reoccurred whilst I was writing it...very frustrating :-)

Just to say that I can always cure this issue now by disconnecting and reconnecting the wireless via 'charms'  then settings....but after a few different sites loading successfully and quickly by the five or sixth one the issue reappears and I have to disconnect and reconnect again.

I'm using Chrome but the problem also occurs with Firefox and Safari too.
