Error 1706 - Annoying!!!

When I log into my pc (running Windows 10) a box is constantly popping up. It says: C:\Windows\Hewlett-Packard\Setup Files\HP Software Update\{34416BCE-2161-4A1C-A6B0-643A8470BC50}\HP Update.msi    

Error 1706 - no valid source could be found for product unload. Windows Installer cannot continue.

I don't have any idea what to do to get this to not look for this or how to correct this.

It sounds like your HP drivers didn't make the trip to W10 in one piece. My recommendation would be to do a control panel uninstall of the current HP driver set, reboot and then download and install the latest and greatest from the HP site.
