Win7, latest Firefox browser, and for the second time, I can't get to my favorite forum on the web. It appears to be the ONLY forum I can't get to, one where I have been a member in good standing for 11 years. Last time it happened was about 3 years ago. After several months it 'seemed' to fix itself, and I was back on the forum. Any ideas what's going on here? And yes, I am new here. Not a complete noob at computers, but no whiz either.

Forgot to say, I always get "connection was reset" page, no matter how I try to enter. I know the site is working fine for everyone else. I checked.

Can you get there by using Anonymouse?

Can you get there after booting Windows up in Safe mode with networking?

I didn't know about anonymouse, but yes, it opened the forum page. As to the safe mode, I wouldn't have any idea how.

To get into Windows "Safe mode with networking", power the computer down (Start orb > Shutdown). Wait a couple of seconds, press the computer's Power On button then start slowly tapping the [F8] function key. (Once a second or so should do it). When the menu comes up, use the Up|Down arrow keys to select "Safe mode with networking" and then press the [Enter] key.

Once Windows gets loaded up it's going to look and act a bit different than normal. Doesn't matter though. Load Firefox and see if you can get into your Forum now. When you're done testing, click the Start orb, select Restart and then let it boot up in normal mode this time. (Don't tap [F8]).

Let us know what happens ...
