I have been using windows 7 now 10 as a server with my powerful main computer. I have adjusted termsrv.dll to allow multiple sessions. My whole family can logon to my main computer simultaneously and experience little problem.

I remote with my other weak computers and use it like a thin-client environment.

What reason would there be for me to get a multipoint server? What functional/performance advantages would there be over my current configuration?

Have you reviewed the licensing requirements/cost between what you are doing and what multipoint does for you?
