Ive tried everything i seen in other forums to resolve this however none of them worked, so im stoping in here before i go shelling out tons of money to fix. Ive replaced the motherboard however problem still there. Every thing seems to be working fine when i turn on the PC. The graphics card is pretty new. Im hating myself for not knowing things about computers being i shelled out money for anew motherboard and didnt even need a new one. My room mate sugested that the CPU Processor is bad. Maybe i dont know. I get it to show on monitor therefore i cant get the specs for to better help with diagnosis. Any responce or support will be helpful. Thanks all and Merry X-Mas.

Hi,

Most views will probably have been by "guests" who are not members of the forum or capable of responding.

Can you please provide as much information as possible regarding what happened?

You have said:

Every thing seems to be working fine when i turn on the PC

Do you mean everything works fine, except the monitor?

But then here you say:

I get it to show on monitor

Does the monitor display anything, or doesn't it? Please clarify.

OK this is what happened. the cpu fan bracket gave in well the tab broke and my computer shut down i order new one install it. hook everything up turn on pc and get no signal to monitor. the light on monitor stays orange if i turn off monitor and turn back on it say no signal. Not sure how to get spec without being able pull it up on screen.I do recall having this problem before  and i simply fixed it by either rebooting or unpluging power from motherboard

You installed a new fan bracket, or a new motherboard?

What happens exactly when you switch the computer on? Does the computer beep? Do the fans run?

Is the monitor plugged into the graphics card, and if so are you sure that the graphics card is fitted to the motherboard correctly?

Does the motherboard also have a socket for a monitor?
