got into programming and have made some cool 70's type video games in qb64(BASIC), I know there are websites where you can play games but is there any site where you can upload your games for others to play or download???

You could use SourceForge, but you'll need to setup an account, and then create projects for your games. Your work must meet elegibility requirements. Take a look at this page.

A simpler solution would be to just create an account on a file-hosting website. Many file-hosting sites offer free accounts, for example Copy.com offers 15GB of free space. Then create a free blog to act as the official site, and post the download links there. The downside to this approach is that most free services reserve the right to delete files that aren't downloaded very often so you may need to re-upload the files at some point.
