I am looking for suggestions on an open source email server solution that can run around 25 email accounts. Will be running  Windows 7 systems for clients, but server currently has Server 2008 R2. We do not have access to the internet (closed-restricted network). Open ti try anything available.

I have always found sourceforge.net to be a good starting point.  Here's what they return in search results for e-mail server on a Windows OS.

I will check out sourceforge. It was blocked at work, but I do remember seeing a couple links to files on there.
