I have gone through the virus forum and there are no infections on my computer.

What is happening is that I am showing internet connection, but IE and Chrome both cannot display the page.

Hi cbm550,

Please download MiniToolBox and run it.

Checkmark the 'Select all ' box and run the scan.
A log will be saved to desktop with name MTB.txt. Please paste  the contents of the log in your next reply.

Run a system file checker scan:
Press 'Start' (Windows logo on keyboard) > Type 'CMD' > Right-click on the first entry in the results > Run as administrator > Type:

sfc /verifyonly

Wait till it completes. Now, follow the same procedure for below command:

findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt"

A log with name 'sfcdetails' will be created on the desktop.
Post-back it too, if too large to post, please attach it to your reply.
