My computer was working yesterday.  Now when I press the power button nothing happens.  When I disconnect the power cord and reconnect it the light comes on and the fans spin for a second then shut down.  The little light on the back of the power supply is green.  Nothing happens then I press the power button.

Do you have a spare PSU to test with, or can you borrow one for testing purposes? Please state the age of your PC and the full list of the parts.
