Last night I got this weird audio static when playing games. When there are lot of sounds on the background it makes a static sound.

It has a noticeable impact on my fps. If I slide my volumes up and down when I'm watching a video it also makes static.

I tried removing and reinstalling my audio drivers but it didn't made any difference.

I also removed my graphic cards driver and reinstalled it and it also didn't made any difference.

My Specs are following

Motherboard :    DP965lt (Intel)

Ram:                  4GB DDR2

Proccesor :        Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz

Graphics Card : Geforce GT430

Hard Drive       : Toshiba 500GB

Audio               : IDT HD Audio.

Any ideas how to fix it?

I'm very pleased for you - but would you care to share the fix, even if only a brief description ?
