I want to buy a smart tv to use as my monitor for gaming

does anyone know much about hooking up a computer to a smart tv if yes respond then i will get into my question's

Yes you can do it. Connect with HDMI. Depending on your video card and TV you may need additional speakers.

 

No problem.

If you're connecting the TV to a PC anyway then you don't need it to be a smart TV - you just need both devices to have compatible (probably HDMI) connections (there's nothing you can do on a smart TV that you can't do on a PC).

 

I'm not sure a TV is the best choice for a gaming monitor though (but I'm not a gamer so can't really comment).

In response to my video card it's a  gtx 960 with two hdmi on the back and for sound I have a 3 channel system meaning two fronts speakers and a subwoofer
