So my bro has done a brand new install of Windows 8.1 but he is getting system lag and when he checks his task manager he gets 100% Disk usage .

Can i get some help to troubleshoot this issue with his pc please as it is making playing games impossible

I have told him to disable

Superfetch and Windows search and to see if it makes a difference ,I know he has a lot of updates to install as it is a fresh install of windows 8.1

But it is still giving him that 100% disk usage .

Can i get someone with far better knowledge than myself to help him please  ?

As i said it is a brand new installation of windows so i dont think Malware or virus is the problem here .
