But should it not also refer to possible correction action. See these lines

MSI (s) (98:78) [17:40:50:401]: User policy value 'DisableRollback' is 0
MSI (s) (98:78) [17:40:50:401]: Machine policy value 'DisableRollback' is 0
Action ended 17:40:50: InstallExecute. Return value 3.

I see on internet when this is found in log do following

 CACLS “C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs” /t /g everyone:f

but on win 7 it say its depcreiated how can I run it using lcals?

I personally do not use Microsoft Security Essentials and not too many of our regular members do either. As such I have never encountered that problem.

However, if you do a Google search you will note that many folks have posted about that issue at the Microsoft Answers Community which is where support is provided for MSE.

See the reply in this topic by Stephen Boots.

You can also just start your own topic over there and ask if no one else replies here with more suggestions.
