I5 2500k + gtx 680 or I5 2400 + gtx960 4gb

I'm wondering which is better setup for next gen games. Any other ideas in similar price?

The i5-2500K and 2400 is 2nd generation Sandy Bridge, they are pretty old and outdated. I would recommend you to go to Skylake processor, or at least Devil's Canyon(Haswell Refresh).


GTX 680 is more powerful and expensive than GTX 960, but some generations old. 680 costs about $500, a little cheaper than GTX 980. I encourage you to buy 980 instead of 680.
