I was hit ransom ware which I fixed using info here, everything is fine with the exception of spider solitaire. Something glitched it, I have to click multiple times to move a card and it flickers when doing so. When I open task manager it shows it as not responding all the time, seems as if it does not fully load. It also affects my browser when it is open, if I close it all works fine. I know this is trivial to most but it is my favorite time killer. All ideas appreciated.

Phil

As a possible fix Phil...

1. Go to Programs and Features and from the menu on the left choose Turn Windows  features on/off.

2. turn games off, and wait for it to complete.

3. from an elevated command prompt run "sfc /scannow"

4. restart

5. turn the games back on.

Works now?

Ran sfc /scannow no change, a bit more! Opened task manager then resource monitor to see if I could spot anything, it also blips every so often. Has me thinking something else got damaged, I have pulled a my wanted stuff files, pics etc.  I may just  hit the recovery partition, this this has been running since 11/2010 for years glitch free may be time for a fresh start.  Will try anything else that may come to mind, but have two rainy days coming good time time to do it over.

Did you turn the games off then on? That is the equivalent of re-installing them.
