hello all.  i've been directed here during my research on how to fix my computer.  i apparently picked up a virus somehow and it has damaged/corrupted most of my files.  all of my family photos, son's birthday parties, xmas, vacations, etc are lost.  hopefully i can find a solution, and get back my files.
