I have a hp pavilion dv2500 laptop with the core2duo T5250 1.5GHz processor. It doesn't support virtualization. So I need to replace it with core2duo T8300 2.4 GHz processor which supports virtualization. Could it be done? or couldn't. Will it support to my motherboard. How can l choose a processor which supports to my motherboard. What are the important things that I must consider about in replacing the processor.

That cpu won't work. Your computer is 667mhz fsb that T8300 is 800fsb. There are no 667mhz fsb cpu's that have VT. So basically you are SOL.
