Hi.

I doubt you will get much for it whole or parts. However that would make a great Linux machine ideal for surfing the net, checking email, watching movies.

Would you be interested in learning Linux? Its not as hard as you think.

Regards.

Nick

Sanitize the hard drive of all personal information. Better still do a fresh install of windows if you have the disc or recovery discs. You won't get much for parts from a comp that old. You could list it on Craigslist & ask perhaps $25.00 or possibly barter/trade it for whatever of equal value. Even better still, bring it to an electronics recycler & save yourself a bit of a headache & time. Or as NickAu suggests, give Linux a try & learn something new.

I never make the same mistake twice....I always make it 5 or 6 times just to be sure!

Would the computer be able to handle linux.

If it can run Windows XP it can run Linux. Pop over to the Linux & Unix And we would be happy to help you.

Here's a little video of Puppy Linux as an example of what Linux looks like. With Puppy Linux your PC will be as fast as the one in the video, No kidding.

Video is NOT my work

Regards.

Nick
