Hi,

I am mb and I would like to know how I can rid myself of winss.exe. It's been trying to access my hosts files and I have no idea how it got into my computer.

Thanks.

mb

Winss. exe appears to be a (non-essential) process used by Windows OneCare Live. Both sources I have seen recommend, though, that it should not be disabled.
