I am new to Linux and trying to transfer a WORDLIST file from Windows 7 to Linux (Kali)

I can't find a way to do it.

I am trying to security test my network router with FERN WIFI and it asks where the WORDLIST file is located, but I cant direct it outside of Linux. Is there an easy way? Sorry but I am a complete newbie where Linux or Kali are concerned :)

It would be easy enough to search the file using grep to see if it contains the password for your router.
There is no need to "transfer the file to Kali," since Kali can access it wherever it is. You just have to mount the file system that it's stored on.

I am new to Linux

Kali is not designed for novices to use. I recommend using something like Mint or Ubuntu until you get used to using Linux.

Don't take this the wrong way, but Kali is not for you.

The wordlists are located in /usr/share/wordlists
