Hello. I'm using Windows XP Professional and have the Backdoor.Haxdoor trojan. I have had this once before and managed to get rid of it with assistance from this site here. I have tried doing this again, however, whenever I try to open the HaxFix program, I always get this error message:

Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\HaxFix\fix.bat'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.

Is there anyway to fix this? Or perhaps another way to get rid of the trojan?.. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program?
Legend has it that... If you put an AOL disc the opposite way and play it you can hear devilish music... Even worse if you put it the right way... IT INSTALLS AOL!

Yes, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times but it hasn't helped.

Perhaps you have a variant and need to post a HiJackThis log
