I recently picked up a new Turtle Beach USB wireless mic for my Steam games such as Black Ops 3 and I seem to be having a serious issue with it. When I go into the sound settings I get a signal from Windows 7 but not on Steam. My Turtle Beach model is an Earforce Stealth 450. Please help me.

Have you checked all the settings under sound in the control panel (especially properties on the recording tab) ?  Have you tried updating the driver for the wireless mic ?. Have you extensively checked all the settings in Steam ? Not sure that helps. It's probably something simple if you keep looking.

Good Luck
