Noticed that MalwareBytes now owns JRT. Ran scan and got same results each time. No log file since program never finalizes, and it always quits after scanning mozilla search engine. Ran diagnostic using microsoft compatability program. Keeps telling me works on windows 7 to reinstall to previous working version.

Bottom line question is does JRT work with Windows 10. Thanks for any and all help.

It appears it does work on 10. One thought, did you shut down your virus protection pior to running JRT ?

Try v8.0.0 of the tool which was recently released. One of the bug fixes I tried to fix was related to the tool being unable to gather the Mozilla FireFox profile name. Other users that reported this to me reported that 8.0.0 fixed this issue for them. --> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/junkware-removal-tool/

Thanks

p.s. and yes Windows 10 is supported.
