Hello, I have been advised by user nasdaq from this thread below to come to the internal hardware forum to find out the nature of my problem.

nasdaq believes it is not malware and that it is a hardware issue.

In my computer's sound mixer there is an item called "Name Not Available" the font is italicized. I thought it was malware at first and came here to seek help. I would like to find out what is it and more importantly if it is harmful. Thank you in advance for any assistance.
