I have an HP All in One wireless printer and HP Envy dr7 laptop which I've had for a few years. The printer worked in the past and then I tried to scan documents, as I have often. I was receiving a communication error. I rebooted the laptop and printer with no luck. I decided to uninstall the printer and try reinstalling and now, it's not even recognizing it automatically or manually, even when I input the IP address. I don't know what to do next.

On a side note, I'm wondering if the issue could be the network name. When I view my network info, the name Abcdef 2 (not real of course) is displayed but I never set up an Abcdef 2. The actual network is Abcdef and Abcdef 5G when wireless. I have no idea why there is a "2" after the name. When I view the printer wireless info, the name is Abcdef. Could that be the issue?

Thank you for any help.

If the printer is shared via network...I would think it important to get the network name correct on all devices intending to share.
