Imagine the ring from a landline phone  without a break...that does not stop.....for a whole minute. Instead of ring...ring....ring....ring or other intermittent alert, this phone for no reason or settings change, will ring a single, solid, nonstop ring for about 1 minute. And thats it. Thats how the incoming calls sound. It logs as an incoming ph call, takes a VM, etc. Its done this 1 other time, no clue why it starts doing this or stops and returns to a "normal" intermittent ring/alert.

For no rhyme or reason this govt issued ph started having this wierd single long ring, stayed that way a month or more & quit as mysteriously as it started.

Now its happening again for a 2nd time. Just like the 1st time it began out of the blue, after having her phone for a yr or more, no internet connection, no apps other than what came with this Obama phone, small smart screen type Alcatel One Touch.

Since the incoming call alert is the only thing that is affected she doesn't bother calling to ask about it but it creeps me out, I dont know why...Has anyone heard of such a thing?
