I love the temp file cleaner by OldTimer. However it does not work with Windows 10. Can someone please point me to another similar program. When trying to delete these files using Right clicing on drive>>Properties>>Disk Clean Up. The files are not deleted. I have tried to delete these files myself but they are still there in the folder. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi KyBunnies :)

Did you make sure that you checked all the items in the Disk Cleanup, and also cleaned the system files on top of that?

Otherwise, the most popular temp file cleaner software would be CCleaner by Piriform.

Yes I checked it but I do not use IE or Edge. I am a FireFox fan. With FireFox all the temp files are not cleared when clicking on Cache.

I have used Bleachbit on linux and it has a Windows version but I don't know if it works on Windows 10. Only check the options listed under Firefox. Do not check any options in the other sections.

This is something you should have specified in your first post, since we cannot guess that :)

You can use BleachBit like suggested by John (Windows 10 is indeed supported as you can see in the link below).

http://bleachbit.sourceforge.net/download/windows

Or use CCleaner. Both will do the job.

And there should be some post stating what is required when posting asking a question. Sorry I am not tech savvy enough for you or this forum. I will leave since it seems like no one is concerned with helping since I do not have tech knowledge!

Please do not take what I said in the wrong way, it's just that we can't guess what you are trying to do if you do not tell us exactly what you want. It's like if someone comes here and post a thread saying "help my computer isn't working". How isn't it working? What are the errors? We cannot guess them, nor throw solutions blindly. When you ask a question or assistance on BleepingComputer, and on any other forums for that matters, you have to be as clear as possible otherwise you'll get thrown replies, answers, solutions, etc. that doesn't apply to you, or that you aren't looking for. Since you knew that you wanted a program to clean Firefox's cache, you could have stated that at the beginning, and I would have insisted on using CCleaner right away, without mentionning the Windows Disk Clean-up Utility.

Also, I don't know if you realized, but two users so far (John and I) were concerned with helping you and offered you suggestions :)

Just for general reference, at the very top of this section of BC there is a pinned topic -

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/18368/before-you-post-about-a-problem/

And a similar topic is pinned at the start of almost every section of BC. But don't worry - virtually nobody ever looks at them !
