Please forgive me if this is not the right place to put this.
I ran the program Dvdshrinksetup thru VirusTotal and it
shows up ok, This was downloaded Dec 2005, the executable
Dvdshrink was also ran thru VirusTotal and showed a couple
of flags, been using this program since Dec. with no problems
have run many scans with many programs since and none have
ever picked up on that flagged virus, my question is could that
be a false/positive showing up? How do I find out for sure?
(the second scan that says newfolder.zip is the executable Dvdshrink)

And who is "UNA" (the scanner that flagged this program" are they reputable?

Thanks for your help

What OS (Win XP/2000, etc) are you using? What type of anti-virus are you using and when was the last time you ran a scan?

A false positive is always a possibility. Are you having any problems? What made you submit Dvdshrinksetup to VirusTotal in the first place

UNA = Ukrainian Anti-virus Center and they are reputable.

Thank you for responding
I am using Xp sp2
Nortons 2006=weeky, spysweeper=3 day intervals, MS Antispyware=weekly, Ewido=2 days ago(first time)
everything shows just fine and runs fine, and have had this program running for 7mo with no issues.

This program stopped development in 2004 I think(DVDshrink) and nobody has had any problems with
as far as I know.
my reason for asking is a poster on another forum brought this up, because he ran this program and some others thru VirusTotal and this one came back with what I have shown. He wasnt well received.
I use VirusTotal often and trust it and I trusted the people here will be a little less judgemental, so I asked.
Its just that whenever I see a flag on a program I try to check it out false or not. and in my book you guys/gals are the best.

Thanks for the UNA info.

Thankyou for your time
