To whom it may concern:

I'm having issues connecting with my wireless network. It's very hit or miss. Some days it connects fine others it's a red x over my wireless icon. The router seems to be working fine since i can connect my phone while sitting next to my PC. i do sometimes get a message thats says there is an IP conflict. I'm assuming it from the phone connecting at the same time.

I noticed the problem starting when i put the machine in sleep mode. When I re-engage the PC it shows the red X over the icon. I try to trouble shoot but it doesn't seem to do anything. after a while, while I'm working on the computer the connection randomly starts workings. The other day it just never connected. Frustrated i uninstalled the wireless card , Linksys, and its drivers. It automatically reinstalled and the problem was solved...temporarily. Now that doesn't work either. I am running a linksys wireless extender as well since its a distance to the router.

Except for regular internet usage i also run Steam and play several games. Last night the connection just randomly started and was able to play for several hours with no issues. I turned off the PC and when i booted up the morning there was the big red x.

Hoping someone can help me troubleshoot the issue.

Thanks in advance
