Hello, I made a mistake and turned off live tiles on start menu now even though the option is back on the tiles are not live. What do I do?

How did you disable the live tiles?

Using the gpedit.msc or the regedit.exe?

No neither. I right clicked on the tiles after marking all and selected turn live tiles off . Later following the same procedure I turned it back on but then the tiles were not live anymore.

Try turning them back on one at a time.

I already did that . I also cleared personal details. Could that have anything to do with it?

I pulled out the menu by the right on the start page. The option was there and I did it.

Are you referring to the Start charm?

Unless you have the Classic Shell installed Windows 8/8.1 has no Start Menu.
