Which model number? Look on the underside of the laptop, perhaps under the battery.

The only reference I could find for a Lenovo 2672 was a X31. Is X31 listed on the computer? Are there any yellow exclamation marks next to Network Controller in Device Manager? If so, right click and select Properties. Under the Details tab select Hardware IDs in the dropdown box. Copy and post the first line.

Edit: Is Windows 32 or 64bit?

Provide the Vendor and Device ID from Device Manager as I posted. Are there any yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager?

There are no yellow xclamation marks. On the list there's no network controller instead there's network adapter

That may be the LAN adapter. Right click the Network Adapter and provide the Hardware ID listing as I posted. This is quite an old computer and the wirless adapter may not be detected by Windows 7. Did this computer originally have XP installed?

Lenovo does not provide a support site for the X31 any longer. So, I need the Hardware ID to track down a driver. If I cannot do that you may need to get a Wifi Dongle like the following.

Ebay has generic ones for a small price but I can't say it will work for you.
