Hello,

I keep getting a notification that GoLoaderStart has stopped working. I can't find it anywhere on my computer. It's not on task manager and there's not too much info on it on google. I've run a thorough virus/adware/malware scan and did not find anything.

I did fiddle with cmd right before this happened. I had a program (league of legends patcher) that wouldn't close on task manager so I used cmd to no avail. I ended up downloading a third party app, nircmd to close it. Now this popup comes every ~30 minutes or so and I have no idea how to get rid of it. Please help!

This is pretty much the only thing I can find about it, don't know what any of this stuff means and can't find it in users (i might be looking for it wrong).

I'm thinking I may have to undo the addition of nircmd but I can't find a guide on how to do that

I've also got a blue screen with the error DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL a day after this started happening
Please help me! I have no idea how to make these popups go away!

'Windows key + X - Control panel - Programs and features'. If it shows up there select it and click 'Uninstall'. If that doesn't work, download the Revo uninstaller, a free download from BC, which you can get here :-

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/revo-uninstaller/

and see if that finds it when you run it. Revo is a very effective and powerful uninstaller, so read the instructions before you apply it !

If this doesn't find it, then uninstall 'nircmd' and see if the pop-up goes away. If it doesn't, then your best course of action is to start a new topic in the 'Am I infected ?' section of BC.

Hey Chris,

After an endless amount of digging, it turns out that the notification was due to a scheduled task from a program from my school. I deleted the program so I kept getting that error message.

Thank you though!

It's so often the silliest things that trip us up, but thanks for saying what the solution was.
