Hi All,

This has me completely baffled. We decided to finally start painting our living room yesterday so, I had to unplug and move everything related to our internet/phone/satellite tv. I'm not a novice so this should have been a breeze.

When I hooked it all back up again late lastnight we had phone & TV but limited wifi.

After checking and rechecking everything I suddenly had wifi on my Surface Pro 4 and on my android phone but, hubbys HP laptop, sons android phone and the two new chromebooks still have limited (well, both chromebooks are saying they may "have to sign into the network" but can't sign in?).

Even weirder: I cannot access the modem web manager but, hubby's laptop & the chromebooks can. There are no other open wifi signals nearby so that's not what I'm tapping into on my Surface.

I'll try to explain the cord connection setup(crude drawing attached)- if someone could look and see if something seems amiss. My brain hurts.

Time Warner Telephony Modem Arris TM402G (for phone)

Directv "connected home adapter" DECA  DCA2SR048 (for TV)

Medialink Router 300N

Surfboard Modem SB6141(for internet in place of TW option)

Coaxial cable coming out of floor to splitter

TW modem is connected to coaxial cable splitter

Surfboard is connected to other side coaxial cable splitter

phone in & out both connected to TW modem

Blue ethernet cord from DECA connected to blue port on medialink

Black ethernet cord connected from medialink to Surfboard

Everything plugged into wall.

After checking all three manuals: all lights that should be lit are lit. The "link" light on TW modem is not but not sure that has to be on if we are not using it directly for internet (I don't remember).

Thanks for any and all help :-)

Finally got some help with this. Ended up having to trade spots between DECA blue cord and the ethernet cord and then power cycle everything
