I am looking for some help with a BSOD.  My laptop is about 2 years old and I don't even use it that often.  Primarily only to pay bills and do some minor online shopping.  I turned it on this morning to pay some bills and right after it finished booting up it went right to the BSOD. I've recently run avast virus scans and malwarebytes anti-malware scan and they have come up empty.  Can someone help me look into this?

Thank you in advance.

Please provide this information so we can provide a complete analysis (from the Pinned Topic at the top of the forum):  http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/

Should the app lock up for more than 15 minutes while searching for Network information (it does this in my copy of W10), go ahead and kill the app.  Then navigate to the Documents folder and zip up the 18 reports in the SysnativeFileCollectionApp folder - then upload that with your next post.

You can also try this new app (from a friend of mine):  http://omgdebugging.com/bsod-inspector/
When done a Notepad document will open with the name of the file and it's location.
By default it'll be a .zip file located on your Desktop
Simply upload the .zip file with your next post and we'll move on from there.

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

This device is disabled.  Did you do disable it deliberately?  If so, why?

Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8136&SUBSYS_05E91028&REV_07\01000000364CE00000    This device is disabled.

Please re-enable the device, update it's drivers from the manufacturer's website, then (if you'd like) feel free to disable it again.

Please uninstall Malwarebytes.  It has a resident component that might be interfering with your Avast.  Feel free to reinstall it after the system has been stabilized.  Don't accept the free trial of the Pro version when installing it, as that's the part that loads into memory when Windows starts.

Do you have any USB devices connected to the computer?  In particular, I'm wondering about any devices that might be formatted with the FAT file system.

The error points to a FastFAT drive

With most systems, the first BSOD has the potential to fix itself.  As such, you may not have to do anything else.

But here's what I'd suggest:

- go to the Dell Support website for your model and install all of the drivers that are available for download for your model.  If you have the most current version of the driver, let the new one install anyway (in case of a file corruption in the version on your system).

- Update the software for any 3rd party programs/devices that you may be using.

Beyond this, as there was only 1 memory dump in the upload, I have these 4 suggestions:

1.  Get ALL available Windows Updates.  It may take several trips to get them all
2.  Get ALL available, compatible updates for your OS from the manufacturer's website (to include BIOS/UEFI).
3.  Start with these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html
4.  If all of the hardware tests pass, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

I was having trouble with WiFi awhile back so i disabled everything.

The only USB devices I use are a wifi adapter and I have a docking station that connects via a USB port.

I will update all the drivers an OS updates.
