Hello, I have a problem with my built-in camera. I have a Toshiba Satellite C55-B with windows 8.1 and avast antivirus and firewall. The problem is that this issue started happening after I reset my laptop to its factory settings. Before that I havent found a virus. Now after the reset I scanned with avast internet security, malwarebytes and superantispyware and still no virus found. I havent downloaded anything suspicious anyways.

Well, when I go to control panel and righ click on imaging devices and then disable and uninstall it. After I restart the laptop the imaging device is there, is enabled and installed. I have no deep-freeze or programs like that.

Any solution to this? thank you

If you uninstall it then windows will keep reinstalling it when it boots and finds the device. Just disable it. Also, you can put a bit of black electrical tape over the lens for added peace of mind.
