Update for Windows 7 for x64 based  systems KB3095649 Failed - How do I determine the reason?  KB3102810 also Failed!

Definition Update for Microsoft Securities Essentials KB2310138 Failed.  How can I determie the reason for this failures?

The error codes are  KB3095649,KB3102810, and KB2310138.

Those are the patch numbers. Usually when windows update fails to install a patch it will go red and show an error code like 80007D000c that kind of thing.

Hi KCav :)

Microsoft have KB addressing that specific error code. You should follow the instructions in it.

Sadly this is as much as I can help you on BleepingComputer, since I'm only allowed to provide advanced assistance for Windows Updates on Sysnative for now since I'm still a Junior Analyst.

It's not a crfical update, so I would not install it.  Critical updates are the only ones that absolutely should be installed, IMO.
