Hi, I'm using Win XP and Mozilla Firefox browser. Very often I enrolled virus into the Mozilla Firefox for example C: \ Documents and Settings \ username \ Local Settings \ Mozilla \ Firefox \ Profiles \ euno8peh.default-14564646 \ cache2 \ entries. When the virus is enrolled, the browser starts much slower to load pages. Such a virus finds that such scanners as Comodo Cleaning Essentials or ADW cleaner, why anti-viruses do not protect against these viruses? How to protect yourself from such a virus?

Firefox as do all browsers use cache to temporarily store images, scripts etc.

You can set FF to delete the cache when you close the browser.

How to protect yourself; really you want to  keep browsers and addons, plugins, Java, flash etc up to date. Exploits cant execute without a vulnerabilitiy present. As another measure you could use a browser addon like NoScript, UMatrix, Request Policy etc
