**I tried sending my dmp files to a compressed zip but I get an error message: "File Not Found or No Read Permission"** (I am the Administrator)

I could use some help guys. My PC will BSOD randomly during graphically intense operations (Gaming even on completely low settings & Youtube Videos being played at 1080p 60fps) When I had my old GPU and it BSOD in the past, the screen would tear so I couldn't see the error. I now have a brand new graphics card that has been tested in another PC and works fine. Although I get significantly more playing time with the new card, I am still getting BSOD. The errors are different almost every time:

Memory_Management
NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM(Ntfs.sys)
KMODE_EXVEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY

After I got the Memory Management error, I switched the RAM to the other two slots, but then got the other three BSODs above. I'm thinking maybe the motherboard?? I hope someone can help.

My setup:

OS: Windows 8.1
CPU: Intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHz Dual-Core Processor
MOBO: Biostar H77MU3 Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
GPU: **OLD**XFX Radeon HD 7850 2GB Core Edition Video Card**OLD** (New: EVGA GeForce GTX 970)
PSU: Corsair Builder CX600M

Just FYI - if you copy the memory dumps to the Desktop you can usually zip it up there.

But, if there's files in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder, they'll be uploaded in the SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip

Differing BSOD errors are usually a sign of hardware/low-level driver issues.

As such, please start with these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Your UEFI/BIOS (version 4.6.5) dates from 2012.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from12 booting.

You have a NETGEAR WNDA3100v2 N600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter (your driver dates from April of 2015):

I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7 and later systems - using older drivers with them is almost certain to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have the latest W7/8/8.1/10 drivers - DO NOT use older drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.

This device is disabled in Device Manager.  Did you disable it deliberately?  If so, why did you disable it?

HID-compliant mouse    HID\VID_046D&PID_C52B&MI_01&COL01\7&2D1FE46E&0&0000    This device is disabled.

Please uninstall the device's software and physically remove the device from your system.

Many, many Windows Update failures.  Please ensure that you have ALL available Windows Updates.  If you have problems checking for or installing updates, please post back for additional suggestions.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Hello usasma! Thank for your reply your instructions have helped me out a lot you've narrowed it down to just one error! I am still getting a BSOD but I am no longer getting the memory or kmode ones, I am only getting the NTFS_FIle_SYSTEM (ntfs.sys) now. I will attach my new dmp file

Here is what I've done:

1. I downloaded the BIOS update utility from Biostar. There aren't any newer versions of the BIOS on their website nor does the Update Utility pick up on any new updates

2. I uninstalled the USB Netgear Drivers and bought/installed a WiFi PCI Card (Gigabyte GC-WBB67D-i) I also updated its drivers to the most current.

3. I re-enabled the disabled mouse from the device manager.

4. I ran chkdsk. It found errors and ran the process of trying to fix them. After it rebooted, when I now run chkdsk, it is says there are no more errors

5. I completely removed SuperAntiSpyware from my computer.

6. I updated the Intel Management Engine interface and the BIOS I/O Drivers

Let me know if there is anything else I can do. I feel like I am almost there!

THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP!

I'm running late for work.  Will try to run the dump file tonight or in the morning.

Meanwhile, please run this free diagnostit on your hard drive:  http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html

The chkdsk errors and the NTFS BSOD's are both suggestive of hard drive issues.

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

BIOSTAR I/O driver is still running, as are the 2012 version of HECKIx64.sys and scmndisp.sys

Please ensure that the BIOSTAR driver is uninstalled, and the Netgear wireless solution is also uninstalled.

As for the HECIx64.sys - try updating it as a driver through Windows Update.  Or, try looking at http://downloadcenter.intel.com for a W10 version.

Or, you can try this one:  http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds037750

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

I am having trouble locating and uninstalling the BIOSTAR I/O driver, can I simply delete it from my C:/Windows/System32/Drivers folder?

The Netgear drivers have been uninstalled from my Control Panel > Programs list. I am not sure how it would still be running. Should I remove anything of "Netgear" I find from the registry?

I am getting an error when trying to install any windows updates. Error Code: 80070002

I have tried repairing the windows update tools using windows built-in troubleshooter, it says it repairs the two issues and fixed it. The two issues that show up are

1. Potential Windows Update Database error 0x80070490

2. Windows Update components must be reparied. (One or more Windows Update components are configured incorrectly)

But every time I run the troubleshooter its still giving the same two errors as if its not fixing them.

I've tried updating the Intel Management Engine Interface using the Intel Driver Updater utility but the same problem is happening as Windows Update...I download the newer version, select install, the installer runs and asks me to reboot so I do. After reboot I run the Driver Utility again and it says my software is still at the older version and the the newer version failed to install.

I have scanned with Malwarebytes 3 times and found no malware or other viruses.

Would scrapping this current HDD, Buying a new one, and starting completely fresh with the OS/driver/everything solve my troubles? If so I am tempted to just replace this one with more storage anyways.

We don't know if this is a hardware or a software problem (although I tend to suspect a hardware/low-level driver problem).

The easiest thing would be to wipe the hard driver and reinstall Windows "clean"

Here's a link for how to do this (it was written for W7, but W8 is similar):  http://www.carrona.org/canned.html#clean

If the "clean" install fixes the problem - then everything is good.

If it doesn't, then we'll have to start troubleshooting to figure out what the hardware problem is.

To do that, we do these 2 things:

http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

http://www.carrona.org/strpdown.html

Good luck!
