Hello everyone,

I downloaded of a website a piece of software, and installed it on my computer.

However, as my paranoia kicks in only after the deed, I asked myself whether the EXE files might have contained some kind of virus.

Is there a possible way to make sure the file is safe for use? Or you are doomed to reinstall your computer to be 100% sure.

Thanks everyone in advance!

EDIT: I checked  the installation file multiples times with NOD32 and nothing came up. Still paranoid though :)

Hello,

You can submit suspicious files for analysis to more than one online service:

§  Jotti's virusscan

§  VirusTotal

§  VirSCAN

§  ThreatExpert

§  Metascan Online <- allows large file submissions

§  Anubis - Malware Analysis

§  Malwr Analysis Service

§  Payload Security Hybrid Analysis

§  Comodo

I would like to help you to remove malware. Let's look inside.   :busy:

But I don't know to solve all PC problems.  :smash:
